I am that person that actually really enjoys going back to school, until I have to take a test and then I am just so done, but until then it's my favorite holiday. Like you have no idea how much joy school supply shopping brings me. It is actually my favorite thing to shop for, and that's probably what made me want to be a teacher because it really goes hand-in-hand with my addiction. So since school starts tomorrow for me, I wanted to share with you, what I like to keep in my school bag. Please note* that I do not have my textbooks yet and I will be hauling around my laptop, but I wanted to share the cute things, not the boring bits and pieces. Most of my supplies came from Target and then some I collected from Staples. My favorite purchases are for sure the cat pencil case (seriously obsessed with things that have cats on them, like I probably have a slight problem- oh well) and my white and gold planner because I am weird and love planners. I also adore my new bag I purchased for this school year, it is a light pink, blue and beige Nine West tote that I snagged on major sale! The other bits and pieces are pretty common school items-- folders, notebooks, pencils and pens. I also like to keep gum and a snack in my bag at all times along with something to tie my hair up because I live in the South and it is bloody hot and humid 90% of the time and last of course, my glasses because without them I would not be able to see. Also I wanted to point on that I carry two planners with me in my school bag, one of which I keep up with 'life' things-- aka work, vacations, vet appointments, etc. and then the pink one which has my school logo on it is strictly for school related things-- aka exams, homework, due dates, all that fun stuff. This just helps me stay more organized and keeps my life in order.
So there you have it friends. I hope everyone has a wonderful school year and finds as much (or at least some) joy in buying their supplies because having cute things definitely makes school better. I promise!
