Hello there lovely people! My boyfriend, Chris, and I wandered around Charleston for a few hours this past weekend on the way to the beach where we spent the next few days with his family. Charleston is such a photogenic place, so beautiful and charming, but hot--very hot. We did some shopping and walked down by the battery. It was a great day spent with my love! Hope you all have a great week!
This weekend I took my friend, Mackenzie, back home to Tuscaloosa with me and we took a little stroll along the river. One of my favorite places to come in Tuscaloosa is here, The River Front park because it is so pretty and quaint. Although it was only a short visit, it was still lovely. So glad I can call this place home :) This past weekend, my family and I went to Brevard, North Carolina and had a little stay in our mountain house! We celebrated my grandparents birthday's on Saturday and then stayed an extra day to just do whatever. Chris and I went to Pisgah National Forest and that's where the pretty waterfall was. It was also Lina's (our new puppy) first mountain trip, so that was fun. I recently bought a new camera so I could not wait to take pictures--I think they turned out really well so I'm excited to start using it more. I hope everyone had a great weekend and an even better week ahead. For Chris's 20th Birthday, I decided to take him on a trip to Pittsburgh- a place he has always wanted to go! It was so so fun. I was not expecting to like the city so much, but I think it may be my second favorite city in the U.S. now! It was so beautiful and clean and just lovely. We went to a Penguins hockey game, explored the city and ate at some great restaurants. On our last day, we visited Fallingwater and it snowed on our way to see it. It was a perfect ending to a perfect trip! Can't wait to go back!! p.s. Please excuse the not so great picture quality as they were all taken on my iPhone. I really need to get used to carrying my camera around! First of all I want to say Happy 2016 to everyone! I hope your year is filled with lots of love, happiness and good fortune. This year my family and I spent New Years in Disney World, which was new for us because we usually go at Thanksgiving. The firework shows are always great, but for New Years, it was amazing. We had the best time!! Now back to reality... |
